Honeywell BW™ Flex 4 Series Multi-Gas Monitor for up to 5 Gases

The Honeywell BW™ Flex 4 Series of gas detectors continues to evolve. After successfully introducing a range of exotic sensors earlier this year, we will now add the dual toxic sensor for the detection of carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide (COSH) to the offering. This will enable users to detect up to 5 gases simultaneously in a single instrument. That’s up to 4 sensors from a choice of 13 different types, with even more planned for 2025.
This milestone further demonstrates Honeywell’s commitment to continuous improvement to help assure the protection of users in even more applications globally. However, it does not stop here!
The entire eco-system, including accessories such as IntelliDoX and Safety Suite, are also receiving important updates in November, which offer many new or improved functions. These additions include:
Faster startup: Miss nothing with the new single button pause/play startup routine. Take a beat to review details or let it start up quicker
Glance mode: View essential info without turning the detector on including user/location, sensors fitted, part number, essential service information
New user interface: Improved display of 5 gases, bigger readings, with a faster more easily navigated menu system for every-day use
Multiple language support: Users can now select from up to 19 different languages to re-enforce global appeal and ease of use to all workers
Fast bump and calibration routines: Reduces test and calibration gas consumption by 30-70% depending on gas type and methods used
Sensor configuration: Enable/disable channels, add or change sensors, reduce inventory and spares holdings of compatible hardware
Easy access menu for day-to-day information: No more hunting through menus for peak readings and resetting of such.
Access rights management: Limit field user access to technical functions such as calibration. Set a password or simply turn the menu off
New user programmable fields: For example, “who to call for service and support” or “lost and found information”. Every little field helps make life easier
Display last 10 events: Users and their supervisors can now see the last 10 events right on the instrument display for quicker work decisions
PANIC alarm function: Improved operation with Safety Communicator including programmable push button operation as a “panic alarm”
Ready for the future: Re-mapped memory for enhanced logging, capacity for up to 1-year, and improved certificates of conformity and calibration
